Happy Saturday

 Good morning all!  I have not had a very productive stitching week.  I have been so busy organizing and then I messed up my ankle and that wasn't pretty.  

What stitching I did do this week was on Halloween Forest which is free chart that I received from Charting Creations on their Facebook group.  I am also doing this as a stitch a long on my Youtube channel that is Jenn's World of Stitches.  I have a hashtag for it and that is #halloweenforest2023.  It is going slow because I am stitching at the bottom right corner and working up.  So I am stitching a lot of 310 and 3371.  But I am enjoying.  I don't like Halloween, and well I am stitching a Halloween cross stitch lol.  I know right?!  The pictures are on the side bar and how much I have done on it so far.  Sorry if the images are big.  I am not sure why they are like that.  I will try to fix them next time

New things coming!

 New things are coming!

Good morning everyone!  I am going to stort updating this every week.  I have sat down to write up a schedule so that people will be able to keep reading and stay interested.  

I will not only share my stitching but life in general.  Also will be hopefully talking about tutorials on how I do my stitching and keep myself organized.  I am dtill coming up with ideas for that.  But until then I will be talking stitching.  I hope you all enjoy!

Stitching update January 11, 2022

 Good morning, and Happy New Year!  I apologize for not posting an entry in a while.  I keep forgetting that I have a blog.  Everyone is doing well here.  I started a new job, working from home and so far, I am enjoying it.  

It is so much easier, to work from home, as you don't feel rushed and my schedule is flexible.  I have been stitching like crazy.  On the right is a picture of Bountiful Bookshelf and what I have completed so far.  I have about 8 percent completed.  I am stitching it using tent stitching.  It is going very well and very fast. 

I have started a Full Coverage SAL for 2022, and have gotten a lot of awesome feedback in the group.  There are a lot of different full coverage charts and projects, that I had no idea they existed.  It is awesome to see them all come to life.

I have also been reading in spare time and have enjoyed reading again, as I have missed it due to just not being interested in it that much, but not I am on a roll.  

Not a whole lot to chat about this time, and I feel like that I always say this, but I will post again soon.

General update

 

    Good morning everyone!  I have been stitching but just not posting on here.  I apologize for that.  Things around here haven't been going smoothly, like I have wanted, but again that is life.  Skylar is doing well in school and he is enjoying virtual school.  Miranda has moved out, and she is now living on her own and she is loving it.  Justin is doing well, he is working now at local grocery store.  He likes his job, I wouldn't say that he loves his job, but definitely likes it.  

Stitching update

I have been stitching like crazy.  I just haven't posted any pictures on blog.  I really need to get motivated and do that. 

I have been kind of trying to not feel some kind of way, I feel like I am stupid, because, I get asked my advice on stitching and then no one thanks me.  They thank other people, or when I show something in one of my groups or on Youtube channel, I am treated like I have no idea what I am talking about.  It hurts sometimes.  I have been stitching for 31 years and it hurts when you are treated like you don't know what you are talking about. It makes me want to just go and hide away and keep to myself. It doesn't help my depression at all.  I have so much going on right now, and I feel like I am contributing to the online community when I offer tips and tricks.  But when there are people who don't acknowledge it, it hurts. Like I said I have so much going on right now, and when things like this happen, it really messes with my emotional state and also with my self esteem.  

I am working on it, but it is hard.  I just hope I can get over this hurdle, because I enjoy chatting with other stitchers and other crafters.

I am hoping to have a stitching update with pictures, by the end of the week.

Fellow stitchers I am still here!

 Wow!  I can't believe that it has been almost two years since I have posted on here!.  Where do I begin?  lol

Well let's see, stitching is still going, no I have no finishes!  I slowed down on stitching, but didn't really stop.  Just picked it up maybe once a week.  Then I had to reduce my rotation, because I started participating in a bunch of events in cross stitch groups and was so overwhelmed!  But now I have some kind of rotation going on.  I have started working on one project a month.  I am finding it so much easier than trying to rotate every week.  I was just not keeping up.  lol

I didn't get to upload pictures ot laptop, but when I update again in a week ( I hope) I will most definitely have pictures of what I am working on.

Summer is almost over! not much stitching in the works

Hi everyone!  Not much going on this summer, stitching wise.  I have been so busy with the kids and doing family activities with them, that stitching was put on hold for now.  I did pick it up today.  I found out that today is World Cross Stitch day, and I had no idea lol.  

I picked up Cascade and will be working on that for a bit.  I am making good progress on that. I haven't touched my UFO that I have been working on for the UFO Sal in my group, need to pick that back up, since I have set a goal to have it finished by December!

I should have a longer post next time.  Sorry I haven't been doing the greatest in keeping up with the blog. Will do better next time!

It has been a really long time since I posted on blog!  Where to start lol!

Stitching update

Well I just recently started stitching again in the last month!  I stopped back January-March because I was to a point that I was overwhelmed and depressed and was also beginning to wonder if even blogging or even updating my FlossTube channel was even worth my time.  So I just stopped all of it.  I even stopped going on Facebook.  I felt like no one cared what I had to say.  In my mindset that is how I felt.  Finally the other day my kids told me that they didn't like seeing me like that and told me that that wasn't me.  So I got myself together and started stitching again.  I don't have any pictures on desktop, but will upload them and post them in next post!

Other news

MOther's day the kids bought me two floss cones and needle minders!  I was thrilled, they also with the help of my parents bought me a brand new computer.  Let me tell you I didn't see that coming at all lol!  I told them that the next present that was coming is a lap stand for me.  The one I have to use to stitch with is worthless and flimsy, but I will use it until I can get it.
